Blind Justice? The wife of the prosecutor of Paris Hilton, now in a very similar case? but .. no ....? While prison is not Duke Rape, no kidnapping, and Sexual Assault no case led to the expulsion of the villains Michael B. Nifong of his attorney in Durham, North Carolina, on the other side of the country, it seems the spirit of life in Nifongism. Moreover, if justice is really going to help - and in this case Nifong has alerted prosecutors - then either a prosecutor or his wife will have to share a cell with Hilton, Paris recently jailed. Now, even with the show playing at Full Tilt Nifong in North Carolina, nothing has captured public attention more than the case of Paris Hilton in Los Angeles. Yes, please forgive me who violated the law and must pay the silly consequences. I suspect that his name had been Paris Jones, would have spent almost no time in prison, and perhaps none. However, since she was driving on a revoked license, perhaps Ms. Hilton may want to change his name to Michelle Delgadillo, wife of the prosecutor who went after Hilton, Rocky Delgadillo. It seems that Mrs. Delgadillo has a history of conduct similar to that of Paris walking, and I can say with certainty that I would not be a passenger in a car that none of them are driving - if the value of my life. In a recent news account, we have learned following the city attorney, Rocky Delgadillo, has Paris Hilton in jail for violating her probation by driving with a suspended license and then condemned the early release. Now he says hes ashamed of the order of bank notes by his wife, Michelle, Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday. Rocky Delgadillo said he did not know until this week and urged his wife to remedy the situation. My wife is embarrassed by this, and I feel ashamed, so he said. The couple have been chronically late in paying fines for at least five parking tickets in the past three years, the newspaper reported. One violation for parking in a red zone in December 2006 was not paid until the newspaper inquired about the tickets last month, when the violation is $ 70 had become a $ 174 fine with penalties. However, as they say on TV late at night, wait, there's more! On Monday, Delgadillo apologized for its silence about a 2004 accident in which his wife crashed his city-issued vehicle while driving with a suspended license. Delgadillo said the city reimbursement for the repair of $ 1222. The prosecutor said Michelle Delgadillo crimes are comparable to those of Hilton, who is serving a 45-day sentence for violating her probation in an alcohol-related case reckless driving. In the latest revelation, Michelle Delgadillo said he was very embarrassed and was working to resolve the issue of arrest warrant as soon as possible. I'll do whatever the court orders it to do. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused my husband and family, said in a press statement. One can be sure that Mrs. Delgadillo will not have to worry about spending several weeks in a cell, or having to be humiliated in front of a judge. After all, she is not Paris Hilton, and in this land of two Americas, any person who may be born with a silver spoon and gold, by definition, is an enemy of the people. So while it is clear that blue Bentley Hilton was attacked by police and was treated much more severely than is the case with most people, no less than its hanged and quartered for driving without a driver's license not good enough. Yes, Paris Hilton, certainly not someone I'd like one of my sons to marry, I admire people who make porn videos of themselves having sex graphics. But that's not the point here. Paris Hilton does not work in my universe, or is someone who usually will occupy space in my head. The question, however, is not Paris Hilton, or her sex life, even your driving record. The issue is this the case, show me the rules of popular justice in the United States of America. Furthermore, I show that prosecutors in general, get a free pass when breaking the law. Yes, it's a bold statement to make after spending a week watching Michael Nifong making very public trips to the woodshed and unceremoniously expelled and deported from his office. However, Nifong is just a prosecutor, and took millions of dollars (tax dollars, I might add) and a Herculean effort on behalf of a number of people to deal with his apparent disregard of the law. Moreover, Nifong has just lost his law license and his job. He has not lost his freedom, despite being the judges, retention of evidence, perjury, perjury, bribery, participating in the obstruction of justice, and the like. In fact, there are currently no criminal investigation taking place, although it was an in-your-face lawbreaker, and someone whose crime does not imply peacefully driving a luxury car, but rather try to subvert the justice system and knowingly send three innocent people to jail for 30 years. Compare the problems of Paris Hilton with those of Nifong and ask who is the biggest transgressor. Moreover, comparing Paris Hilton to Michelle Delgadillo and ask who has been most flagrant in violating the law. However, Nifong collects a state pension, Delgadillo apologized, and Hilton is in jail. Of course, public outcry was not the first time you let out of jail after four days and given house arrest. Never mind that there were good reasons for doing so. (It seems that Miss Hilton realized that, as any guard - man or woman - can look into his cell through a window, a guard could also take pictures of her sitting on the toilet and then sell the photographs to the tabloids for thousands of dollars. However, I doubt anyone wants to take pictures of me on the John - or even Nifong, for that matter - but someone like Hilton is a different story.) Thus, it is time to refer to my title. Yes, there are two Americas, but not both of which the pathetic John Edwards speaks. (He lives in a house of $ 5 million - while criticizing others who are rich, so it's all you need to know about it.) No, there really are two Americas, one of the servants and politicians are protected even if participation in the worst kind of violation of law, and the other is the America in which the rest of us live. Now, I really do not care if Paris Hilton is driving her blue Bentley around Beverly Hills where the government says it can not. But I do care when wives of prosecutors are allowed to flaunt the law and receive a free pass, and when prosecutors can commit felony and after being treated as the protection of individuals. The state of affairs to which Edwards points is imaginary, in my opinion. But the two Americas, which is very real point. Delgadillo's example is small, but nonetheless count. I can assure you that Michelle Delgadillo will not have to worry about a man looking sideways guard as she sits on a toilet. June 22, 2007 William L. Anderson, Ph.D.
